I do not know the answer for sure but could be lag related (dont think tombs is optimised for that many creatures running around. Player actions could also have higher priority when server manages connections/info sent back & forth).
Also screenshot if you manage to summon that many bone fiends again (& upload to imageshack or some other free image service), bonus points if you are shouting "ZERG RUSH" at the same time

If lag and connection limit was the problem, then i think this should be considered a bug, no?

Its a stupid anoying trick, they make a all necro team and then during the countdown timer some die, get used to raise a minion, raised, get killed again, raise a minion, etc ...
When coundown is over the other team is looking at over 20 enemies instead of just 8, they get zerg rush, killed and get their bodies used to raise even more minions.

Ranger spirit to prevent the eventual res would end the cycle eventually. There are some tricks in necromaner lines to shift the minions around, in addition to fire and holy ripping the minions apart.

Yes thats is why I said it was a anoying trick, there are ways to counter it buts stills its a exploit of necro "suicide" abilities and lack of a minion cap number.
Its no better that "running to win" were the team simply runs and runs forcing the other team to log out of sheer boredom, there are wars to deal with it as wel.

Were you healing your minions? If you don't care for your minions, they lose they're "bond' to you. The spell "Verata's gaze' or something, if a minion doesn't have a "Master" then you become its master or something like that, but you have to care for your minions in order for them to stay loyal to you.
